San Miguel de Allende
From my first visit to this beautiful Mexican city in 2003, San Miguel and its people have always made me feel at home. Whether sharing tequila with a mariachi band in an all men’s bar, accompanying cowboys on their pilgrimage to San Martin, or spending time in the local cemetary during Day of the Dead, I have always felt welcomed. It is a country and a people with honest, dignified human warmth, rich in traditions and local custom. I invite you to visit San Miguel through these images.
